Weather forecast for 25 August

Temperatures up to 38°C on Sunday

Sunday will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon, clouds will develop over eastern Bulgaria, but there will only be isolated showers and thunderstorms. There will be light to moderate winds from east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 33°C and 38°C, around 33°C in Sofia.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny with cumulus clouds and occasional showers and thundershowers in the afternoon. There will be moderate to strong winds from north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be around 27°C at 1,200 m and 18-19°C at 2,000 m.

Over the Black Sea it will be mostly sunny. Clouds will develop in the afternoon and before midnight. There will be rain and thunderstorms in places. There will be moderate east-northeast winds. Maximum temperatures will be between 29° and 32°C, 27°-29° at sea level. Sea swell will be 2-3.
