Atanas Ilkov outlined the ministry's main priorities, including the preparation and holding of the upcoming early parliamentary elections, border security, countering illegal migration and combating the trafficking of illegal migrants.

Meanwhile, Bulgaria received 60 all-terrain vehicles under an EU project aimed at improving the technical capacity of the Border Police. This is the fourth delivery of border security equipment provided by the EU, reported BTA.
