In total, this country has paid almost 250 million euros of its own funds to buy 8,488,620 doses of vaccines against the virus that caused the pandemic, according to data provided to BTA under the Access to Public Information Act. 1,931,992 vaccines were destroyed due to expiration.
More than 3 million vaccines have been donated to countries that did not have easy access to vaccines because they are not part of the EU.
