MPs decided to change the National Assembly's agenda. At the suggestion of "DPS - New Beginning", the first topic on “establishing a temporary commission to investigate the presence of US influence on Bulgaria, including through NGOs" was removed. "I cannot understand why you have included a disgraceful item on the agenda. Our country is a member of NATO, where the US is a major partner," Stanislav Anastasov said. He added that "DPS - New Beginning" will submit a request to investigate the influence of NGOs that work entirely in private business interests.
