The flow of visitors to the Bulgarian stand at the 28th East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition EMITT does not stop. The exhibition is held until February 7 in Istanbul and is among the five largest tourism exhibitions in the world. The national stand of Bulgaria presents a total of 15 tourist destinations.

"Bulgaria is a traditional participant in the tourism exhibition in Istanbul. The Turkish market is particularly important for us due to its geographical proximity and its large tourist capacity. This year, more companies from all over Bulgaria are presenting at the stand of the Ministry of Tourism compared to previous years. We are focusing on spa tourism. Winter tourism is also very attractive for Turkish tourists," Teodora Taskova, tourism attaché at the Bulgarian Consulate General in Istanbul, has told BTA.
