Physicist Acad. Ivan Todorov passed away at the age of 91, the press center of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announced. Acad. Todorov was a scientist with outstanding achievements and world recognition in the field of modern theoretical physics - the theory of elementary particles, high-energy physics, the mathematical foundations of physics. He is one of the most famous Bulgarian physicists, repeatedly invited to consult the Nobel Committee when nominating laureates for the Nobel Prize.
The total number of scientific works by Acad. Ivan Todorov exceeds 250, including 11 monographs, most of which have been published by the most prestigious scientific publishing houses: Pergamon Press, Addison-Wesley, Kluwer, Springer. Some of them have been reprinted many times.
