This was announced by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Petar Dilov, at the opening of the Explore U.S. conference, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, with the support of the US Embassy in Sofia.

Dilov noted that for the period January-October 2024 alone, Bulgaria's trade with the US amounted to 1.4 billion USD, with Bulgaria having a positive trade balance in the trade between the two countries.
