Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra will present Bulgarian works in Bucharest on March 3

The National Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by maestro Nayden Todorov will present works by Bulgarian composers in concerts dedicated to Bulgaria's National Day of Liberation, March 3. 

The repertoire includes the works: Nestinari Dances by Marin Goleminov, Piano Concerto No. 3, Opus 31 in B flat minor by Pancho Vladigerov with the brilliant soloist Georgi Cherkin and Symphony No. 1 by Veselin Stoyanov. The first concert will be on March 2 at Bulgaria hall in Sofia.

The National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the program in a concert on March 3 in the legendary Atheneum Hall in Bucharest.

The concert in Romania is at the invitation of the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Romania, Radko Vlaykov. The invitation comes after the Sofia Philharmonic's exceptional performance in the same hall in March 2024. 
Combining works by three of the brightest and most important composers for Bulgarian musical culture, the program presents Bulgarian uniqueness, historical connections and our European identity.
