The Central Election Commission (CEC) has decided to hand the tally sheets, in paper form, from the election, provided by the Constitutional Court, as well the two technical devices, over to the Information Services state-run company for re-entry of the data from the polling stations where the results have been contested.
In fulfilment of the court decision from 26 February, Information Services must enter and hand over the results of the election from the 2,204 polling stations checked.
The results of the re-count should show whether there will be any changes in the distribution of the seats in the 51st National Assembly. The data after the re-calculation must be handed back to the Central Election Commission by 9 AM on 12 March at the latest, the CEC has decided.
