Dozens of enthusiasts and nature lovers will kick off the 44th edition of the Move and Win campaign with a spring hike to Bozhur Hut. The first walk will take place on 3 May. The meeting point will be the Vladishki Bridge in Veliko Tarnovo.

The route is easy - it takes about three hours to walk, and May is the best time to hike in the area, as the wild peonies are in bloom, filling the air with their unique scent. There are two more hikes planned for the end of the month - to the Preobrazhensky Monastery (May 17) and to the picturesque village of Xylifor (May 31), where the traditional sports festival will be held. This year, the winners in the sports and tourism disciplines will receive certificates and prizes. A fun and educational lottery, dedicated to World No Tobacco Day (May 31), has been prepared for all students, reports BTA.

The volunteers from the ‘Trapezitsa’ society maintain over 250 km of marked trails in the area, cleaning and placing trail markers. In 2024, more than 500 participants, aged 4 to 88, took part in the two stages of the "Move and Win" campaign, which coincides with the anti-smoking campaign.
