On May 10 and 11, the interactive science and technology centre "TechnoMagicLand" at Sofia Tech Park will host a national Rubik's Cube speed-solving competition. The event is part of the official calendar of the World Cube Association (WCA) and is organised by Sofia Tech Park and the Bulgarian Cube Association.

Dozens of participants - including professionals, advanced cubers and beginners - are expected to compete in various categories. These will include the classic 3x3x3 cube, as well as more complex variants such as 4x4x4 and 5x5x5.

The award ceremony will take place on 11 May, the organisers announced. They also noted that in 2024, Sofia Tech Park, the Bulgarian Cube Association and TechnoMagicLand held the first edition of the tournament as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the iconic puzzle.
