A tender for the design and construction of Terminal 3, pre-terminal space, transport hub and modernization of the existing Terminal 2 at Sofia's Vasil Levski Airport has been launched, the airport operator SOF Connect announced.
It will invest 230 million euros in the project with additional investments in equipment of 25.5 million euros. "This is the largest public infrastructure development project to be implemented in the country in the next five years," the company said. They expect that by 2031 Bulgaria will have a world-class airport, BTA has reported.
