The story of legendary Bulgarian footballer Georgi Asparuhov, also known as Gundi, as told through the lens of a profound love story, became a phenomenon as soon as it premiered in Bulgaria on 18 October 2024. It is the first film in recent Bulgarian history to sell more than 500,000 tickets in a country of 6.7 million people.
