Deputy Minister of Culture Todor Chobanov has opened the exhibition " On the Waves of the Black Sea through the Ages" in the Segur Hall in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The event is part of Bulgaria's cultural program during the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee and presents exceptional archaeological finds revealing the rich cultural heritage of the western Black Sea coast.

"The artifacts presented are evidence of the greatness of various civilizations and remind us that the Black Sea is not just a natural phenomenon, but cultural and historical crossroads," Chobanov said. "The Black Sea region has always been an example of multicultural dialogue and exchange. With this exhibition, we present 10,000 years of history, focusing on not only terrestrial but also underwater archaeology, in which Bulgaria is a leader in Eastern Europe," added Hristo Popov, director of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
