More than 120 take part in the reenactment of the battle at Buzludzha

The last battle of the legendary Bulgarian voivode Hadji Dimitar and his men against the Ottoman troops in 1868 will be reenacted for the 11th time, Nikolay Baynov from the National Association Tradition in Kazalnak told the BNR.

More than 120 people are going to take part in the reenactment – members of the Association from all over the country. The reenactment of the last battle on 18 July, 1868 of the last 26 out of the total of 130 men led by Hadji Dimitar and Stefan Karadja begins at 11 AM. Before that there will be a funeral mass for all people who have laid down their lives for the freedom of their country.
