600 million euro to be spent for new equipment of Bulgarian land forces

Bulgaria will spend some 600 million euros for buying machinery and equipment, including maintenance, Bulgarian Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev has announced. According to him, the realization of the investment project will replace part of the military equipment of the land forces. "Considering the current economic situation of the country, buying the necessary equipment can be done in stages, with the provision of 50 million euros annually for a period of 12 years," the Minister of Defense has announced.
