Bulgaria’s work ahead of its 2018 Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the Western Balkans as one of its key foreign-policy priorities were central to a series of meetings of Bulgarian and Croatian MPs held at the National Assembly in Sofia.
One of the highlights made during talks was that the Western Balkans should take their deserved plane on the map of united Europe. The problems that the region is faced with are common and their solution benefits all its countries.
The MPs also agreed that together, Bulgaria and Croatia could do a lot not only in terms of bilateral economic cooperation but also by conducting a joint policy for the integration of the Western Balkans.
