Bulgaria is gateway of Azerbaijani gas to the Balkans: Murad Heydarov

Bulgaria is our gateway to the European markets and the markets in Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans in particular, Director of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company SOCAR Balkan Murad Heydarov said. The Southern Gas Corridor aims to help other gas producers to integrate their product on the markets. That is why Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan were invited to use the gas pipeline, in order to transfer the gas extracted on their territory, Murad Heydarov went on to say and specified that the gas supplies via the Southern Gas Corridor are expected to being in 2020.
