A team of American scientists, led by Bulgarian Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov of the University of Pittsburgh, is working on a promising therapy against Covdi-19. It is based on the isolation of antibodies that block the virus.
In a special interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, Prof. Dimitrov explained the principle of action of the therapy: “Our antibody binds to the virus very strongly and prevents the virus from entering the cells.
