No coronavirus deaths reported in past day

For the first time since the start of the pandemic no Covid-19 deaths have been registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours. 16 new cases have been reported out of a total of 2,915 tests, a positivity rate of 0.55%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

In only 8 regions of the country new infections have been reported, the highest number being in Pazardzhik – 4.

9,379 is the number of active cases in the country. 1,560 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 197 of them in intensive care. 19 is the number of recoveries in the past day.

2,720 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, 1,276 of them in Sofia. This brings the total number of vaccinations up to 1,727,616.

786,336 is the number of people in the country who have been fully vaccinated.
