Meat processing companies from Great Britain interested to invest in Bulgaria

A strategic goal for Bulgaria is the development of modern and competitive agriculture with mandatory preservation of natural resources and environment. This was stated by President Rumen Radev at a meeting in Sofia with representatives of large companies in the meat-processing industry, which operate in the UK and explore investment opportunities in Bulgaria.

Radev stressed that Bulgaria has favourable conditions for investment in agriculture. As such, he highlighted the clean and fertile land, accessible water sources and the strong traditions of Bulgaria in plant and animal husbandry.
