Military formations open doors on the occasion of the International Children's Day

Military formations of the Land Forces, the Bulgarian Air Force, the Joint Force Command and the Joint Special Operations Command traditionally open their doors on the occasion of the International Children's Day marked on June 1. 

The military formations of the Land Forces in Stara Zagora, Smolyan, Haskovo, Yambol, Elin Pelin, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Asenovgrad and Chirpan will be open for visitors from 09.00 am until 11.00 am. The servicemen will acquaint the guests with the history of the military formations. They will show samples of weapons and combat equipment and demonstrate combat skills. Bezmer Air Base is to welcome visitors from 09:30 am to 13:00 pm. Vrazhdebna Air Base will open for visitors at 10:00 am. There will be demonstration flights with the military transport aircraft C-27J Spartan.
