On June 12, the Supreme Judicial Council continues the procedure for ousting Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev. The procedure has been started by four members of the SJC after a Geshev's statement that undermines the prestige of the judiciary, according to them. The meeting was postponed due to the requirements for a reasonable period of time for the chief prosecutor to get acquainted with the evidence of the procedure.
