North Macedonia‘s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani expects a new perspective in the Bulgaria-North Macedonia relations. Bujar Osmani met with Bulgaria‘s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel within the frameworks of the 16th edition of the Dubrovnik Forum in Croatia.
"The formation of Bulgaria's new government offers a new perspective for stronger political dialogue and greater opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation between the neighbouring countries, which mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between North Macedonia and Bulgaria", Bujar Osmani said. In his words, the main topic of discussion was the European perspective of Skopje and the Western Balkan countries. Bujar Osmani emphasized the common will to comply with the Treaty on Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation signed in 2017.
