Prim Fest 2025 kicks off with rock, pop, opera and off-road rallying in Primorsko

Three months of music, culture and adventure on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast

One of Bulgaria's longest-running summer festivals takes place in Primorsko, a resort town on the Black Sea coast.

Over the next three months, Prim Fest 2025 will bring residents and tourists nights filled with music, offering a rich palette of genres across its many events. The festival will open with performances by renowned old-school rock bands such as Signal, alongside well-established acts like Wickeda, Akaga, D2, and the newest sensation destined for stardom, Kerana and the Cosmonauts.

Fans of pop classic golden voices can look forward to concerts by celebrated singers Veselin Marinov and Irina Florin, alongside actor Stefan Valdobrev, a distinguished singer-songwriter and composer known for his original and compelling music.

From 26 July to 30 August, open-air opera concerts will be held as part of 'Opera at the Sanctuary', which will see the Thracian sanctuary of Begliktash transformed into a unique stage. Four of Giuseppe Verdi's operas — Il Trovatore, Rigoletto, Aida and Nabucco — will be performed as part of the Burgas State Opera's repertoire over six weeks.

Adding an extra dose of adrenaline and adventure to the festival, the annual off-road rallying and camping event will also form part of Primorsko’s summer entertainment programme.
