The Turkish border authorities have intercepted a group of 37 migrants who have attempted to cross illegally into Bulgaria.

The migrants went into hiding in two villages close to Derekoy in Turkey and Malko Tarnovo in Bulgaria.

The migrants split into three groups to be able to cross the border more easily. They are nationals of Pakistan, Iran and Syria. They have been handed over to the regional office of Turkey’s Migration Directorate, BTA reports.
