EC congratulates Bulgaria on its achievements during Presidency of Council of European Union

In a letter to the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU the Secretary General of the European Commission Martin Selmayr expressed his strong impression of the achievements during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2018, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. Special attention was paid to the successful EU-Western Balkans Summit which was held on Sofia on May 17 2018 and reaffirmed the commitment for European perspective of the region. A total of 46 legislative dossiers were completed during the Bulgarian EU Presidency, Martin Selmayr further points out.
