Bulgarian President Rumen Radev's official visit to Austria has started with a meeting with the Bulgarian community in Vienna. There are more than 30,000 Bulgarians in Austria, including artists, scientists, descendants of Bulgarian gardeners from the "old" immigrant community, as well as many students.

President Radev handed a presidential honorary badge to the long-time chairman of the Austrian-Bulgarian Society Karl Blaha. Bulgaria is the only country Austria has never fought with, Blaha said. The main topics in talks between President Rumen Radev and his Austrian counterpart Alexander van der Bellen at Hofburg Palace are migration, security, regional cooperation between the Danube countries and investments.
