Bulgaria reports 1,086 new cases of Covid-19 out of 10,926 tests performed

1,086 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 10,926 tests performed. Nearly 10% of the tests have returned positive result. 42 people have died in the past 24 hours, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-335, followed by Plovdiv-93, Pleven-70 and Pazardzhik-62.

There are 25,010 active cases of Covid-19. 3,074 people are in hospital, including 300 patients in intensive care units.

744 people have recovered in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the total number of coronavirus recoveries to 199,632.

90,512 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. 4,594 people have been inoculated against Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. 25,441 Bulgarians have already received their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
